The Lumberjack Bowl is a magical place that welcomes some of the best lumberjack shows in the world. This arena hosts many of the most thrilling acts from Scheers Lumberjack Shows to the Lumberjack World Championships. Every time you step foot in this iconic bowl, you can feel the passion and excitement of these unique performances. At the show's end, our son tried out one of the large saws and chose a piece of wood, signed by the lumberjacks, as memorabilia. This high-energy show is fun for all ages!

Museum of Historic Torture, Wisconsin Dells


At the Museum of Historic Torture, you'll take a walk into history's darker times when ancient Roman crucifixion was commonplace. Here you'll get acquainted with the world's most infamous tools of the torturer, like the Thumbscrews, The Rack, The Ducking Stool, and the dreaded Chinese Death Cage. Exhibits incorporate torture devices, disturbing images, and detailed descriptions of how and why torture was used back in the day.



FAST Fiberglass Mold Graveyard, Sparta Wisconsin


At the fiberglass mold graveyard, you'll likely recognize some relics from the past. Perhaps a statue or an object from a favorite water park you visited as a kid or something you saw sitting outside the gas station you drove by every day to school. At 143 feet long, the hall of fame is home to the world's most enormous muskie. Here you can climb up several flights of stairs through the belly of the muskie before walking out its mouth to wave at those below. Several exhibits display vintage fishing boats, motors, and various gear, making it an ideal stop for anyone who wants to learn more about the history of fishing.

The International Clown Hall of Fame and Research Centers is devoted to honoring, protecting and promoting the art of clowning through performance and media. A great effort is taken to preserve, interpret and share all clown-related art with each new generation. It is a place to recognize the achievements of those who have devoted their lives to bringing joy to others.

Sputnik Crash Site Manitowoc, Wisconsin


The Sputnik IV Crash Site is a reminder of the fascinating space race from the past - it's marked by a metal ring in the middle of the road where it originally crash-landed back in 1962. At first sight, the ring may seem unimportant, but it actually honors an extraordinary feat in the history of astronomy. The crash-site has inspired one of Wisconsin's most eccentric festivals, Sputnikfest.
