Taking a Walk through History at the Indian Agency House

The Enduring Skills Weekend at the Historic Indian Agency House at Fort Winnebago was an incredibly enriching and enjoyable experience. Conveniently located in close proximity to our local community, this event offered a fantastic opportunity to immerse ourselves in history and traditional craftsmanship. Participants had the chance to create beautiful flutes from an invasive plant called Japanese Knotweed, engage in captivating historical games, and even witness demonstrations of how soldiers might have set up camp during times of war. If you have the chance to attend next year, be sure to pack a tasty lunch, take a walk on the Ice Age, and plan to spend the full day exploring and soaking in the wealth of knowledge and activities they offer. The event was made truly special thanks to the dedicated efforts of the wonderful volunteers who worked tirelessly to bring this educational and entertaining experience to life. Their passion and commitment are truly praiseworthy! 💕
